The Broadway revival of August Wilson's Joe Turner's Come and Gone begin previews March 30, and Playbill has the information you need to see the show without breaking the bank. The production, which has already extended through July 19, will officially open April 25 at the Barrymore Theatre.

Set in 1911, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone takes place in a Pittsburgh boarding house run by the steady Seth and the open-hearted Bertha Holly—a refuge for Black travelers navigating the upheaval of the Great Migration. Among them is Herald Loomis, a man searching for his lost wife—and for the self he lost during seven years of illegal enslavement under Joe Turner. The work is the second in Wilson's American Century Cycle.

The production will offer a digital lottery, an in-person rush, and in-person student rush.

Entries for the digital lottery will begin at 12 AM ET the day before the scheduled performance, and winners are drawn that same day at 10 AM and 3 PM ET. Winners may purchase up to 2 tickets at $49 each, subject to availability. The digital lottery is available at rush.telecharge.com.

In-person rush tickets will be available in person at the Barrymore Theatre when the box office opens on each day of performance. In-person rush tickets are $45, subject to availability. Rush tickets are limited to 2 per person and are on a first-come first-served basis. Student rush tickets will also be available for $35, subject to availability. Student rush tickets are limited to 2 per person with a valid student ID, and are on a first-come first-served basis.

Directed by Golden Globe and four-time Emmy winner Debbie Allen, Joe Turner's Come and Gone will play Broadway’s Barrymore Theatre, the same theatre where the play premiered at in 1988.
