The new work will receive a two-performance presentation this summer.

The Parts I Keep Inside

The Parts I Keep Inside: A New Musical from composer-lyricist Jeffrey Schmelkin will play two performances at Off-Broadway's Triad Theater July 9 and 11.

The musical follows four characters that live inside the head of a music director who is attempting to find a sense of inner peace. In 2021, a song cycle version of the show played a sold-out performance at The Triad. This summer's presentations will present a new 90-minute musical version.

Serving on the creative team are Patrick B. Phillips as music supervisor and Bobby Weil as music director. Casting will be announced at a later date.
