The musical improv comedy show, Shitzprobe, is on the move!

After five years downtown, the show is moving uptown to the newly renovated Laurie Beechman Theatre. Beginning September 29, the show will play twice a month, with each performance featuring a special Broadway guest star joining the cast.

Each performance of Shitzprobe is wholly improvised based on prompts provided by each unique audience. No two shows are the same, as every song, lyric, line of dialogue and dance move is wholly improvised, accompanied by a live band creating the score on the fly.

Created by Kiki Mikkelsen, Ali Reed, and Adrien Pellerin, the current Shitzprobe cast of improv performers features Josh Lamon, Aneesa Folds, Daniel Tepper, Christopher Simpson, Raquel Palmas, Jacob Ben-Shmuel, Adrian Frimpong, Nikita Burdein, Katy Berry, and A.J. Holmes.

Past guest stars have included Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin), Tony nominee Christopher Sieber (Death Becomes Her), Jessica Vosk (Wicked), Jackie Hoffman (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Talia Suskauer (Wicked), Isabelle McCalla (The Prom), Barrett Wilbert Weed (Heathers), and more.
