Jessica Lee Goldyn, who has appeared on Broadway in A Chorus Line, Finding Neverland, Tuck Everlasting, and Hello, Dolly!, steps into the role of Nini in the Tony-winning Moulin Rouge! The Musical February 22.
Goldyn succeeds original cast member Robyn Hurder, who scored a Tony nomination for her performance and played her final show February 20 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Hurder had been with the show for over four years, from the production's early workshops and the 2018 Boston out-of-town tryout.
Moulin Rouge! won 10 2020 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The cast also currently features Natalie Mendoza as Satine, Tony winner Aaron Tveit as Christian, Eric Anderson as Harold Ziegler, Tony nominee Sahr Ngaujah as Toulouse-Lautrec, Tam Mutu as The Duke of Monroth, and Ricky Rojas as Santiago. Ashley Loren is the Satine Alternate.
The show is directed by Tony winner Alex Timbers and has a book by Tony winner John Logan, choreography by Tony winner Sonya Tayeh, and music supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Tony winner Justin Levine.
