Attention Greasers! The Outsiders Wants You to Design Their June Broadway Playbill

The Outsiders and Playbill are inviting fans to create something unforgettable: a special Playbill cover, designed by you. This is your chance to bring your vision to life and leave your mark on The Outsiders' legacy.

The cover art contest is open now through April 20, 2026. To enter, create an original design within the guidelines below centered around The Outsiders. Submissions must measure 5.625"x6.75", be in CMYK color and 300 dpi, and include a 1/4" safety for live type and images. Entries should be shared as Instagram posts using the #TheOutsidersPlaybillContest hashtag, from accounts that are following The Outsiders and Playbill. Entries can also be submitted via email to [email protected] with name, age, and contact information included.

Entries are limited to one per person. Submissions must be original work created solely by the entrant without any third-party logos, offensive material, words other than the title, or names. Promoter and Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these guidelines.

SPONSORS:

This contest (“Contest”) is promoted by Playbill (“Promoter”) and the producers of The Outsiders (collectively, the “Sponsors”).

ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of entry. Entrants who are under eighteen (18) years of age are considered minors and must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and any required documentation. Employees of Promoter and Sponsors, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) or persons living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

ENTRY PERIOD

The Contest begins on April 2, 2026, and ends on April 20, 2026 at 12PM ET (“Contest Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be considered.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter:

• All submissions must be created using the following specs:

  • 5.625”W X 6.75”H

  • CMYK Color Space, 300 DPI

  • Please allow ¼” Safety for Live Type and Images

• Entrants must repurpose their Outsiders cover design into an Instagram post using #TheOutsidersPlaybillContest, and follow The Outsiders, and Playbill on Instagram.

• Entrants may also submit via email to [email protected] with name, age, and contact information.

• Only one entry per person. Multiple entries will be disqualified.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Entries must:

• Be original work created solely by the entrant.

• Not contain any third-party logos or offensive material.

• Have no words other than the title.

• Not include names.

Promoter and Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these guidelines.

PRIZES AND FULFILLMENT

Grand Prize (1 winner):

• Be featured on The Outsiders social platforms

• Be the exclusive primary cover of the June Outsiders Pride Playbill for the full month, with editorial credit

• Receive two (2) tickets to a performance of The Outsiders on Broadway

• Receive The Outsiders merchandise “swag bag”

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash. The Outsiders will coordinate delivery of physical and digital prizes within 30 days of winner verification.

LICENSE AND PUBLICITY

By entering, entrants grant Promoter and Sponsors a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute their designs for marketing and promotional purposes, with credit. Entrants agree to allow Promoter and Sponsors to use their name, image, and design in all media, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Promoter and Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud or technical problems compromise its integrity. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and decisions of the judges. All federal, state, and local laws apply.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Promoter and Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries. By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsors and their affiliates from any and all liability arising out of participation in the Contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

GOVERNING LAW

This Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
