Anna Ouyang Moench's Man of God completes its run at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse June 19. The new work, which began previews May 10 and opened May 20, will transfer to Williamstown Theatre Festival for a run July 5-22.

Set during a mission trip to Bangkok, the comedic feminist thriller follows four girls participating in a Korean Christian girls' youth group as they deal with discovering the hidden camera placed by their pastor in their hotel bathroom. As the four respond to the invasion in their own ways, their shared rage and disillusionment lead them to take action against the always-present male gaze.

Starring in the production is Shirley Chen as Samantha, Emma Galbraith as Jen, Erin Rae Li as Mimi, Ji-young Yoo as Kyung-Hwa, and Albert Park as Pastor.

Maggie Burrows directs the production, which features original music and sound design by Jonathan Snipes. The creative team also includes scenic designer Se Oh, costume designer Denitsa Bliznakova, lighting designer Lap Chi Chu, fight director Thomas Isao Morinaka, intimacy director Mia Schachter, production stage manager Elizabeth A. Brohm, and casting director Phyllis Schuringa.

Man of God made its world premiere in 2019 at Los Angeles' David Henry Hwang Theatre at the Union Center of the Arts, and was originally scheduled as part of the Geffen's 2019-2020 season. It was canceled just before opening in March 2020 due to the pandemic.
