Due to a scheduling conflict with a newly confirmed film project, Tony winner Alan Cumming will now perform in Off-Broadway's White Rabbit Red Rabbit June 6. The star was previously scheduled to perform April 25, a slot which will now be filled by Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer.)

The acclaimed solo show began performances March 7 at the Westside Theatre starring Nathan Lane; Whoopi Goldberg performed March 14. Each Monday, a different actor is handed a script to perform without the help of a director, rehearsals or a set.

White Rabbit Red Rabbit, by Nassim Soleimanpour, is playing Monday nights exclusively with a rotating, star-studded cast that includes Wayne Brady, Martin Short, Patrick Wilson, Christine Baranski, Ramin Karimloo and Cynthia Nixon.

Forbidden to leave his country, Iranian playwright Soleimanpour transcribed his experience of isolation into this unique stage work. The play premiered at the 2011 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where it won a series of awards. It has since been translated into 15 different languages and performed globally. “This wildly entertaining and thought-provoking theatrical piece – where no audience can see the same show twice - blends drama, comedy and social experiment,“ state press notes.

The show is presented by Maberry Theatricals in support of PEN International, working to promote literature and defend freedom of expression around the world. “We are thrilled to be working with such an extraordinary group of performers, and to be partnering with PEN International, on such an intriguing and provocative work,“ said lead producers Devlin Elliott and Tom Kirdahy in a press statement. “Each night will bring its share of surprises. We can't wait to be surprised ourselves. Remember, no cheating! Don't google this play!“
