Cabaret favorite Klea Blackhurst will return to Chelsea Table + Stage later this fall with the continuation of her second annual edition of her career retrospective The Box Set.
The series will resume October 19 with Dreaming of a Song: The Music of Hoagy Carmichael, featuring Billy Stritch, followed by Everything the Traffic Will Allow: The Songs and Sass of Ethel Merman November 16.
Both shows begin at 7 PM. A streaming option is also available for the performances.
Blackhurst's recent theatrical credits include the Witch in Into the Woods for Opera North; Ragtime: The Symphonic Concert with the Boston Pops at Tanglewood, conducted by Keith Lockhart; and Ragtime: The Symphonic Concert with the Cincinnati Pops, under the direction of John Morris Russell.
The Box Set gives Blackhurst’s longtime followers the chance to revisit her body of work, while also allowing a new generation of theatre and music fans to discover her talent.
