Lincoln Center will give a one-night-only works-in-progress performance of Miranda Ferriss Jones and Richard Edelman's Spiral Bound in their David Rubenstein Atrium December 6. The performance will be open to the public, and unticketed. The performance begins at 7:30 PM.
Starring will be Tony winner Laura Benanti and fellow Broadway favorite Khaila Wilcoxon (Six), backed by students from Pace University and a band comprising Yair Evnine, Sujin Kim-Ramsey, Lee Nadel, and Kasey Blezinger.
Spiral Bound is a collection of songs about inspirational women, adapted from sculptor Edelman's spiral-bound notebooks of poems composed from 1968-1972. Jones has composed the piece's music.
