The Directors Company will hold an industry presentation of Jeremy Landon Hays' new play Everything in the Dim Light later this week.

Directed by Hannah Ryan, the play will be presented January 15 and 16 at LDK Studios. The presentation is presented in association with Jayne Ackley Lynch.

Set in 1905, just prior to Oklahoma's statehood, Everything in the Dim Light follows Bathsheba Collins as she returns to Indian Territory after the death of her father to claim the land of her childhood, in a tale loosely inspired by Thomas Hardy's Far From the Madding Crowd.

The cast for the presentation includes Gus Birney, Catherine Curtin, Austin Scott, Haskell King, John Rapson, and Alisa Melendez.

Future information on the future of the piece is forthcoming.
