The upcoming Broadway transfer of London's Oedipus—set to begin performances October 30 at Studio 54—has revealed a digital rush policy that will give theatregoers a chance to buy tickets to the Olivier-winning revival for as little as $45.

Rush tickets will be available for day-of performances via the TodayTix app on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats may be partial view.

The production is set to officially open its 14-week limited engagement November 13. Robert Icke is directing and has adapted Sophocles' story, newly set on election night as an unexpected result changes everything. Originally presented in Dutch at Internationaal Theater Amsterdam and subsequently at the Edinburgh International Festival before coming to the West End, the revival won two 2025 Olivier Awards, including Best Actress for Lesley Manville and Best Revival of a Play.

Leading the cast are Mark Strong (A View From the Bridge) in the title role and Manville (The Crown) as Jocasta, both reprising their performances from the West End bow. Also back from the U.K. run are Samuel Brewer as Teiresias, Bhasker Patel as Corin, Jordan Scowen as Eteocles, and James Wilbraham as Polyneices.

They're joined by John Carroll Lynch as Creon, Teagle F. Bougere as Driver, Ani Mesa-Perez as Lichas, Olivia Reis as Antigone, and Anne Reid as Merope. The ensemble features Brian Thomas Abraham, Denise Cormier, Karl Kenzler, and Oliver Rowland-Jones.

The production features scenic design by Hildegard Bechtler, costume design by Wojciech Dziedzic, lighting design by Natasha Chivers, sound design by Tom Gibbons, and video design by Tal Yarden. Casting is by Julia Horan and Jim Carnahan. David Lober serves as production stage manager.

Sonia Friedman Productions, Sue Wagner, John Johnson, and Patrick Catullo are producing in association with Roundabout Theatre Company.
