Following the release of Mandy Gonzalez's first solo album Fearless, the Hamilton and In the Heights star has released five additional tracks from the album's original recording sessions. Produced by Bill Sherman, Fearless: B-Sides is now available from digital outlets.
The five new tracks offer Gonzalez's interpretations of classic tunes like "I Only Have Eyes For You" and "Bein' Green," as well as her first Spanish-language recording, "Vivir Mi Vida."
Released October 20, Fearless featured Gonzalez singing songs by such artists as Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jennifer Nettles, Bill Sherman, and Tom Kitt, including a new acoustic arrangement of "Breathe," the song Gonzalez introduced in the original Off-Broadway and Broadway companies of In the Heights. Gonzalez is best known for creating the role of Nina in In the Heights, the first of several collaborations between Gonzalez and Lin-Manuel Miranda; Miranda penned the title track on Fearless, and Gonzalez is currently stars on Broadway as Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton.
