Lin-Manuel Miranda's groundbreaking, Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton celebrates its 10th anniversary on Broadway August 6 with two special performances at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

The 1 PM performance is a fan-filled matinee. Hamilton producer Jeffrey Seller previously announced an expanded digital lottery for the afternoon show with a minimum of 1,000 seats, priced $10 each, distributed through the lottery. Winners were notified July 31.

The 7 PM invite-only anniversary performance of Hamilton serves as a fundraiser for the Immigrants: We Get the Job Done Coalition. In fact, the evening performance at the Rodgers is expected to raise nearly $3 million for the coalition of nonprofits that provides immigration services and includes ACCESS (Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Service), Alianza Americas, America’s Voice, Asian Law Caucus, Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, Haitian Bridge Alliance, Immigration Equality, Kids in Need of Defense, National Day Laborer Organizing Network, National Immigration Law Center, Tahirih Justice Center, Texas Civil Rights Project, and United We Dream.

This historic investment in the coalition is made possible thanks to the support of Tony winner Miranda, the Miranda Family and Miranda Family Fund, and the cast of Hamilton. The evening will feature a reception with Miranda and members of the original Broadway cast, followed by the invitation-only performance.

“Immigrants are the lifeblood of America,” said Hamilton creator and original star Miranda in an earlier statement. “I am honored that audiences have connected so deeply with Hamilton’s status as an American immigrant, and that it has become a source of strength and pride. So, in celebration of Hamilton’s 10-year anniversary on Broadway, we are proud to raise much-needed funds for the Immigrants: We Get the Job Done Coalition to empower, financially support, and uplift vital organizations doing lifesaving and life-affirming work on the ground daily, for the most vulnerable amongst us."

"Hamilton transformed narratives and opened hearts to the immigrant experience, which is foundational to our nation’s story. In today’s climate of rising violence and punitive measures against immigrants, this message is more vital than ever: immigrants are not only integral to our past but essential for our present and future prosperity. The Immigrants: We Get The Job Done coalition is bringing together organizations committed to challenging the negative stereotypes and harmful policies directed at our nation’s immigrants and upholding the promise of America as a nation of immigrants," added President of Hispanic Federation Frankie Miranda, who is not related to the Hamilton writer.

Miranda previously told the Associated Press that every actor who has performed in his musical on Broadway since its opening has been invited to the 10th anniversary performance.

"We’re working on something special for the curtain call and another nice special thing after that," Miranda revealed to AP. "That’s about all I can say." Tickets were made available through a public Prizeo sweepstakes and then were obtainable through ticket sales at HispanicFederation.org/Hamilten.
