This summer, Hamilton celebrates 10 years on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. It began previews July 13, 2015, and opened April 6. It also made household names out of original Alexander Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda (who created the show), and Leslie Odom, Jr. (who played Aaron Burr). Both won Tony Awards for their work on the musical.
Since then, 14 additional actors have played the title role (including standbys and understudies) on Broadway, while 25 more actors have played Burr. Plus, beginning September 9, original cast member Odom, Jr. will don his Burr jacket once again, in a limited engagement through November 26.
