Kelli O'Hara and Brian d'Arcy James lead the new Adam Guettel musical, with a book by Craig Lucas, at Atlantic Theater Company.

Atlantic Theater Company's world premiere musical Days of Wine and Roses officially opens Off-Broadway June 5 after beginning performances May 5 Off-Broadway.

The Adam Guettel-Craig Lucas musical, which recently extended through July 16, is led by Kelli O'Hara and Brian d'Arcy James as Kirsten and Joe, respectively, with Michael Greif at the helm. 

The company also includes Sharon Catherine Brown (Caroline, Or Change) as Mrs. Nolan, Bill English (Anything Goes) as Texan, Olivia Hernandez (Plaza Suite) as Betty, Byron Jennings (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as Arnesen, David Jennings (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) as Jim Hungerford, Ted Koch (To Kill a Mockingbird) as Rad, and Ella Dane Morgan (Waitress) as Lila, with Steven Booth, Nicole Ferguson, Scarlett Unger, and Kelcey Watson as understudies.

Adapted from the 1962 film and a 1958 teleplay, Days of Wine and Roses is somewhat of a Light in the Piazza reunion. Guettel and Lucas previously collaborated on the 2005 musical, with Guettel winning Tony Awards for his score and orchestrations, and Lucas receiving a Tony nod for his book. O'Hara starred and was Tony-nominated for her performance as Clara.

The production features choreography by Sergio Trujillo and Karla Puno Garcia, scenic design by Lizzie Clachan, costume design by Dede Ayite, lighting design by Ben Stanton, sound design by Kai Harada, hair and wigs by David Brian Brown, props by Joshua Yocom, and orchestrations by Guettel and Jamie Lawrence. Kim Grigsby serves as music director, with Antoine Silverman as music contractor. The director of production is Zach Longstreet, the director of development is Barbara Toy, the director of marketing is Braley Degenhardt, and the associate artistic director is Annie MacRae. Casting is by The Telsey Office, and Judith Schoenfeld as production stage manager, and Pamela Adams as general manager.

The production is being presented in association with Alchemation and Mark Cortale.
