Just two days after opening, Atlantic Theater Company's The Reservoir has extended and added a week to its run, which will now continue through March 22 at the Off-Broadway company. Opening night was February 24—see what the critics had to say here.
The cast features Noah Galvin (The Good Doctor) as Josh, Caroline Aaron (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as Beverly, Heidi Armbruster (Disgraced) as Patricia, Peter Maloney (The Thing) as Hank, Mary Beth Peil (Anastasia) as Irene, Matthew Saldivar (Grease) as Hugo, and Chip Zien (Harmony) as Shrimpy. Casting is by The Telsey Office's Will Cantler and Destiny Lily.
The work centers on Josh, who moves home to Denver to get sober while suffering from memory loss, confusion, and shame—predicaments that place him oddly in sync with his aging grandparents. Shelley Butler, who helmed the California bow, is also directing the Off-Broadway iteration. The play made its world premiere at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse.
The production features scenic design by Takeshi Kata, costume design by Sara Ryung Clement, lighting design by Jiyoung Chang, and sound design and original music by Kate Marvin.
Michelle Bosch serves as production stage manager.
