Bubba Weiler's The Saviors will make its world premiere via Atlantic Theater Company this summer. The play will begin performances Off-Broadway June 11 prior to an official opening June 28 for a limited engagement through July 19.
Jack Serio will direct the play, collaborating once again with Weiler following last summer's production of Weiler's Well, I'll Let You Go. Casting and additional creative team members will be revealed at a later date.
In the new play, a lost young man takes shelter in a church, where two altar boys desperately cling to each other as their changing faiths, lives, and bodies threaten to tear them apart.
