New musical fans rejoice! The cast recording for Three Houses, the newest musical from composer Dave Malloy (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812), has been released on streaming platforms.

The musical played a well-received run last year at Off Broadway's Signature Theatre, and Malloy launched a Kickstarter to fund the recording of the album. The album is now available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, and to purchase on Bandcamp

The album features the cast of the Off-Broadway production, including J.D. Mollison as Beckett, Mia Pak as Sadie, Margo Seibert as Susan, Henry Stram as Grandfather, Scott Stangland as Wolf, and Ching Valdes-Aran as Grandmother.

The musical follows three different people in three different homes during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the personal discoveries they make while in isolation.

The album is directed by Annie Tippe; it features music direction and supervision by Or Matias (who also conducts). It is produced by Malloy, Matias, and Josh Axelrad.

The album also features Matias on piano, Blair Hamrick on French horn, Maria Bella Jeffers on cello, Malloy on beats and organ, Yuko Naito-Gotay on violin, and Scott Stangland on guitar on "Wolf Song."
