Caroline Barnard has been promoted to executive vice president of business and legal affairs at Concord Theatricals following the departure of predecessor Victoria Traube earlier this year.
The role will be Barnard's third with the theatrical licensing group, following earlier titles as vice president and senior vice president. Prior to her work with Concord, Barnard served as vice president of professional licensing for The Musical Company, Andrew Lloyd Webber's licensing house that was folded into Concord's holdings in 2018.
“I’m honored to lead the Business & Legal Affairs team during this exciting period for Concord Theatricals," says Barnard in a statement. "I look forward to working with Sean Flahaven and the rest of the Theatricals team, as well as with Amanda Molter and the general counsel's office, to support Concord’s work across the theatre industry and to provide the highest level of service to our authors, clients, and customers."
“Caroline is a brilliant attorney and strategic advisor, and we have been very fortunate to have her as a collaborator for seven years,” adds Concord Chief Theatricals Executive Sean Patrick Flahaven. “I’m looking forward to continuing to work closely with her on our many projects in licensing, publishing, recording, and producing.”
