Tony winners Richard Easton and Blair Brown will star as Ben Franklin and his sister Jane Macom in the PBS documentary "Benjamin Franklin," to air Nov. 19-20. Check local listings for times and channels.
Easton won his Tony for his performance in Tom Stoppard's The Invention of Love. He will star in Henry IV at Lincoln Center Theater next year. Blair Brown was honored for her turn in Copenhagen. Since then, she has starred in A Little Night Music at the Kennedy Center. She will star as "Prospera" in the re-genderized 2003 McCarter Theatre presentation of The Tempest.
Also featured in the PBS program are Dylan Baker and Robert Maxwell.
In other Blair-related PBS news, the actress will narrate the Nov. 27 program, "Young Dr. Freud," by David Grubin. The program, about Sigmund Freud's early life, will also feature Liev Schreiber as the voice of Freud.
