Two-time Tony Award nominee Stephanie J. Block made her Broadway debut in 2003, portraying showbiz icon Liza Minnelli opposite Hugh Jackman in the Peter Allen bio-musical The Boy from Oz.
She returns to Broadway this fall, bringing the life of yet another entertainment icon to the stage, starring as Cher in the new bio-musical The Cher Show, which begins previews November 1 at the Neil Simon Theatre.
Before New York rehearsals get underway, Block will head to The Cabaret in Indianapolis, Indiana, to perform in concert September 14–15. Fans can expect highlights from her Broadway appearances in Wicked, The Pirate Queen, and Falsettos, as well as songs from her 2009 solo debut album, This Place I Know.
