Off-Broadway theatre company MCC's 2022 edition of Miscast plays NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom April 4, honoring Emmy and Tony winner Christine Baranski, MCC Board Chair Susan Raanan, and MCC Youth Company Alum Alexander Lambie.
The star-studded line-up includes Lea Michele, six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald, Shoshana Bean, Tony winners Andrea Martin and Kelli O'Hara, and Myles Frost, J. Harrison Ghee, and Steven Pasquale.
Completing the list of performers is Emmy Award winner Uzo Aduba (Godspell), Tony Award nominee Raúl Esparza (Leap of Faith), Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry (tick, tick...BOOM!), Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose (A Raisin in the Sun, Caroline, or Change), Tony Award nominee Jennifer Simard (Company), Skye Dakota Turner (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical), and Tony Award winner Aaron Tveit (Moulin Rouge!).
The event features stage favorites performing songs from roles in which they wouldn't traditionally be cast. It will be filmed for a special broadcast, set to stream May 22 at 7 PM ET.
Pretty Woman's Will Van Dyke serves as musical director.
