Anthony Rapp (Rent, If/Then) will star in a new Off-Broadway solo show from playwright Kenny Finkle, Touch, at East Village Basement. The production will play a limited run March 12-30. Former Keen Company Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein will be at the helm.

The work reportedly follows Syd Blatter, a middle-aged gay man who is a fifth-grade teacher and a failed writer whose life is turned upside down after a surprising run-in with a former student. The production is a reunion for Finkle and Silverstein, who previously collaborated on Finkle's 1993.

Jack DePalma and Andrew Stein are producing. The production will feature scenic and prop design by Thomas Jenkeleit, sound design by Bart Fasbender, costume design by Jennifer Paar, and lighting design by Hayley Garcia Parnell. Shane Schnetzler will serve as stage manager, with Mitch Marois, Maxwell Beer, and Lana Russell as general managers and executive producers for Mix and Match Productions.

Tickets are now available via TodayTix. Starting February 5, tickets will be available at TouchThePlayNYC.com.
