Norm Lewis Will Offer Broadway & Beyond at 54 Below
Richard Jay-Alexander will direct the week of concerts at the Manhattan venue.

Tony nominee Norm Lewis will return to 54 Below in June with a week of shows entitled Broadway & Beyond.
Richard Jay-Alexander will direct the concerts, set for June 14-20 at 7 PM. Attendees can expect to hear Broadway favorites as well as other songs that have shaped Lewis' life and career.

Lewis earned a 2012 Tony nomination for his performance in The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess. In 2014 he had the distinction of becoming the first African-American actor to play the title role in Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera.
Lewis’ other Broadway roles include Jake in the original production of Side Show (1997), Eddie in The Wild Party (2000), the Painter in Amour (2002), Billy Flynn in the revival of Chicago (2004), Javert in Les Misérables (2006), King Triton in The Little Mermaid (2008), part of the star ensemble in Sondheim on Sondheim (2010), Agwe in the revival of Once On This Island (2018), Reginald in Chicken & Biscuits (2021), and more.
