The West End production of Alistair McDowall's all of it opens June 8. The production, which began performances June 6, stars Olivier nominee Kate O'Flynn.

Originally staged in 2020, O'Flynn stars in three interconnected short plays by McDowall: all of it, Northleigh, 1940, and In Stereo. All three center on women who possess extensive internal worlds that they mask with ordinary lives.

The short plays are staged at the Royal Court Theatre through June 17. Royal Court artistic director Vicky Featherstone co-directs with Sam Pritchard. The pieces have been written explicitly for O'Flynn.

Moving chronologically, the first piece (Northleigh, 1940) explores a woman's life during the Blitz. The second (In Stereo) explores the divided self through an eight track monologue, and the third piece (all of it) takes a woman from birth to death in one lightning-fast run.

Following its West End run, the three plays will play the Festival D’Avignon July 15–23.
