Tony Award winner Alan Cumming (Cabaret) returns to TV with Season 2 of his CBS series Instinct, premiering June 30.
Cumming plays Dr. Dylan Reinhart, an ex-CIA operative who has become a professor and writer. But when the NYPD needs help to catch a serial killer, he returns to his life of crime-stopping.
The actor is a two-time Golden Globe nominee and a four-time Emmy nominee. He last appeared on Broadway in a reprise of his role as the Emcee in the 2014 revival of Cabaret at Studio 54. He is the owner of downtown’s Club Cumming as well as the author of the recently released Honey & Leon Take the High Road, another in his children’s book series about his beloved dogs.
Last year, Cumming headlined the musical theatre-themed festival Elsie Fest.
