Abingdon Theatre Company has named two-time Tony winner Christine Ebersole its 33rd Anniversary Gala Honoree.
Ebersole will be celebrated during Abingdon's Stronger Still gala October 27 at the Edison Ballroom. The evening, kicking off the company's 33rd season, will include cocktails, dinner, and performances from Off-Broadway and Broadway artists to be announced at a later date.
Producing Artistic Director Chad Austin said in a statement, “I am ecstatic to commence our 33rd season by honoring the incomparable Christine Ebersole, filled with a night of timeless performances. It’s a privilege to honor Christine in our upcoming season titled, Stronger Still, and celebrate her accomplishments and contributions to the theatrical landscape. As artists, we continue to navigate uncertain roads, but we will do it together. Stronger still…”
