British and American actors will come together to present A Shakespeare Jubilee! - The Making of Shakespeare April 28 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles.

The event marks the first co-presentation between the Wallis and Britweek, and the twelfth anniversary of BritWeek, a non-profit organization devoted to showcase the creative collaboration between the U.K. and the U.S.

Produced and directed by Louis Fantasia, A Shakespeare Jubilee! stars Genevieve Allenbury, Xander Berkeley, Eric Braeden, Jane Carr (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Suzan Crowley, Karen David, Joely Fisher (Cabaret), Mira Furlan, Michele Greene, Ioan Gruffudd, Harry Hamlin (Chicago), Lexie Helgerson, Isabella Hofmann, Finola Hughes, Lisa Locicero, Brian Lohman (and Impro Theatre), Nigel Lythgoe (So You Think You Can Dance), David Melville (Hamlet), Joe Spano (The Price), Joan Van Ark (The Rules of the Game), Sabra Williams, Sherry Williams, Madeline Wu, Michael York (Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me), Luke Youngblood (Community), Oscar Zhang, and more to be announced.

The Jubilee is inspired by a 250-year-old celebration when actor David Garrick put on an event to recognize the work of Shakespeare back in 1768.
