The Argyle Theatre’s production of Million Dollar Quartet is set to begin performance May 16 on Long Island ahead of a May 18 opening night. The production, which is scheduled to run through June 23, launches the new theatre’s second season.
With a concept by Floyd Mutrux and a book by Mutrux and Colin Escott, Million Dollar Quartet tells the story of the legendary night in 1956 when Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash participated in a star-studded jam session at Sun Records in Memphis.

Directed and choreographed by Adam Pelty, Million Dollar Quartet stars Morgan Bernhard as Carl Perkins, Jason Cohen as Brother Jay, Anthony Genovesi as Fluke, Taylor Gray as Jerry Lee Lewis, John Glowacki as Sam Phillips, Callee Miles as Dyanne, James Penca as Johnny Cash, and Alessandro Gian Viviano as Elvis Presley.
The production features scenic design by NETWorks and costume coordination by Bobbi Morse (based on the original Broadway original scenic design Derek McLane and costume design by Jane Greenwood), as well as light design by John Salutz and sound design by Carlos Dias, Jr.
