SEEKING

Equity chorus singers (Female characters) for WEST SIDE STORY.

Performers of all ethnicities, physical types, gender identities, and ages are encouraged to audition.

All roles will be understudied.

ENSEMBLE: 18+ to play teenagers. Singers who are strong dancers and can act well.

Members of the gangs and their girlfriends (Jets and Sharks). The Sharks are a gang of Puerto Rican teens and their girlfriends. Latino actors are encouraged to audition. Will play a variety of ensemble roles. Some ensemble members will cover principal roles.

There are no Equity stage managerial positions available.

PREPARATION

Please prepare 16-bars of a song in the style of the show. Singing from the show is fine.

Please bring your picture and resume, stapled together.
