DESCRIPTION

The Company Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the touring production, including personnel management, travel logistics, financial oversight, and front-of-house support. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to navigate the dynamic environment of a touring theatrical production.

The Company Manager serves as the central operational leader for the Tour and works directly with Producers, General Management, venue representatives, touring personnel, and local crews to ensure a seamless and professional tour execution.

Responsibilities include:

Personnel & Communication

· Serve as primary liaison between the production team, venue representatives, promoters, and local crews

· Manage and support all touring staff, maintaining a positive, respectful, and professional work environment

· Ensure that artist, technician, and crew agreements are upheld

· Coordinate HR matters and assist in staff evaluations

· Conduct company meetings as needed

· Maintain clear and consistent communication between departments and production leadership

· Provide daily updates to Producers and General Management

Finance & Administration

· Administer weekly payroll for touring staff

· Maintain accurate financial records and track all road expenditures

· Assist in financial planning and manage venue settlements

· Audit box office statements, engagement documents, and settlement paperwork

· Oversee per diem distribution and expense reconciliation

· Ensure timely submission of financial reports and documentation

Travel & Logistics

· Arrange and manage all tour-related travel including air, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and reimbursements

· Coordinate transportation logistics for personnel and equipment

· Serve as primary point of contact for transportation vendors and lodging partners

· Manage travel changes and troubleshoot delays or disruptions in real time

· Coordinate credentialing and venue access logistics

Company Services

· Manage artist and talent relations

· Coordinate Front of House (FOH) support and VIP logistics as required

· Arrange guest tickets for producers, partners, and staff

· Assist in planning and executing special events, meet & greets, and promotional activities

· Troubleshoot operational issues in real time

Requirements

· Prior Company Management experience on a touring theatrical production

· Strong proficiency in financial reconciliation, travel coordination, and team leadership

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities

· Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities

· Familiarity with health and safety compliance practices

· Must be comfortable traveling and living on the road (sleeper bus) for the duration of the tour

SALARY

$1,800.00 – $2,000.00 per week
