SYNOPSIS: A cross between Spring Awakening and Midsommar, The Turning is a new folk musical thriller about two best friends in search of healing who go to a California desert-based wellness retreat, which ultimately reveals itself to be something else entirely.
The folk/Americana score evokes the sonic sounds of Kacey Musgraves, Noah Kahn, Mumford and Sons, Brandi Carlile, Alison Krauss, and Phoebe Bridgers.
