The Brooklyn College Musical Theatre Collective is a student run organization looking to provide performance and leadership opportunities in mounting a production of American Musical Theatre as this is not currently offered as a part of any of the performance curriculums in the City University of New York.

The Creative Team is seeking an experienced lighting designer and electrician with strong leadership skills who is open to collaborating with driven students in an attempt to mount a heightened theatrical production at their school.

The designer’s responsibilities would include collaborating with the Creative Director on how to spend the rental budget specifically for the performance space as well as designing and programming lights for the performances. The designer would also lead a team of students during “load-in” and “set-up” of all rented materials, as well as during “break-down” and “load-out.”
