Oklahoma City University will host a developmental presentation of the new musical The Dust Bowl Radio Hour February 1, 2026, at the Wanda L. Bass School of Music. The performance will feature students of the university.
The project features a book and lyrics by Sean McGee (Jersey Boys) and music by Kasey Dillon Yeargain, and the duo will co-direct the upcoming presentation.
The musical follows a young boy and a radio host searching for the boy's missing mother via radio broadcasts at the height of the Dust Bowl in 1930s Oklahoma.
