DESCRIPTION

Play On! Studios is looking for new musical directors to join us for our summer camp! We are a day camp on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Each week, campers (grades K-4) put on a show for family and friends. We are looking for new counselors to join us. Duties of the summer camp counselors include musical directing Creative Drama Camp shows (3-4 songs per show), discipline and supervision of campers, helping with sets and costumes, taking blocking/choreography notes, running drama games, and additional tasks relating to camper care and camper production, as requested by the Directors of Play On! Studios. No tracks are used, you must be able to accompany live performances on piano.

Hours are 8:15am-3:15pm Monday-Thursday and 8:15am-5:15pm on Fridays. Pay starts at $1100 for a 37 hour week. Camps run in one week sessions. Candidates may be hired for non-consecutive weeks, based on availability. We are looking for people available June 15-19, July 13-17, August 17-21, August 24-28 and August 31-September 4.
