"The Monkey King" is in search of a Martial Arts-inspired Movement Choreographer!

Seeking a choreographer versed in kung fu who can bring stylized fighting and movement together for a TYA production of a new musical based on the popular legend of the Monkey King, directed by Steven Eng (NYU-Tisch, National Asian Artists Project) and written by Jonathan and Kimbirdlee Fadner. Aesthetic should not be traditional musical theatre style. Think "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" meets Modern Dance and then add your own flavor!!! The performances will run at Queens Theatre in the Park from February 9-12, 2023 with rehearsal starting January 19th and ending on Feb 8th, 2023. This is an equity production.
