DESCRIPTION
The Mac-Haydn Theatre in Chatham, NY is seeking Principal and Company Member Submissions for its upcoming Summer 2026 Season. Located just 2 hours north of NYC and nestled between The Catskill Mountains and The Berkshires, The Mac-Haydn is producing 6 mainstage musicals in 2026 between May 29th and September 6th.
Shows include: The Addams Family, 9 to 5, The Secret Garden, Newsies, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, and Hairspray.
SEEKING
Principal and Company Member Submissions for upcoming Summer 2026 Season. All Roles are currently open.
PREPARATION
Principal Submissions:
2 Contrasting Vocal Selections (32 bars each) showing both contemporary and classical musical theatre styles. Songs from the show(s) you wish to be considered for are OK.
Company Member Submissions:
2 Contrasting Vocal Selections (32 bars each) showing both contemporary and classical musical theatre styles.
Virtual Dance Call (MT Dance and Tap)*
*Please note: We will NOT be accepting dance reels in lieu of the virtual dance call.
DEADLINE
Submissions will be accepted through Sunday, February 22nd, 2026.

OTHER DATES
An invited dance call will take place March 18th in NYC and in person callback appointments will be on March 18th and 19th. Candidates will be contacted by the Mac-Haydn in the coming weeks if the team would like to see them for an in person callback.
