Fall From Grace – New Musical Concert Presentation

Fall From Grace is a contemporary pop-driven musical set at a performing arts high school. The story follows Jessie, a closeted teen navigating identity, friendship, love, and the fallout of secrets that ripple through his school and home life. Blending pop, contemporary musical theatre, and emotional storytelling, the show explores themes of queerness, adolescence, gossip culture, and self-acceptance.

We are currently seeking video submissions to complete casting for an upcoming concert presentation on April 25 in New York City.

Roles Seeking Submissions

Jessie (Lead)

Male-presenting, Latinx, (18-30) to play high school senior

Jessie is a talented student at Southwest Academy for the Performing Arts. Sensitive, thoughtful, and deeply passionate about performing, he struggles to reconcile his identity with the expectations placed on him by family and peers. When a secret relationship is exposed, Jessie becomes the center of gossip and emotional fallout that forces him to confront who he truly is.

Jessie carries the emotional heart of the musical and requires a strong actor capable of vulnerability and emotional depth.

Vocal Type: Baritone/Tenor / strong contemporary pop voice
Style: Pop / pop-rock / contemporary musical theatre
Traits: Sensitive, introspective, charismatic performer, emotionally expressive

Mom / Ms. Heart (Supporting – Double Casting)

Female-presenting, Latinx, 40s–50s

This actor will perform two roles within the concert presentation.

Mom – Jessie’s mother. A controlling and emotionally volatile presence whose rigid beliefs and fear of societal judgment create deep tension within their relationship.

Ms. Heart – A faculty member at Southwest Academy. Stern, watchful, and uncompromising, she represents the institutional pressure and discipline within the school environment.

Both characters act as authority figures in Jessie’s life and contribute to the emotional obstacles he must confront.
