About Rep Book Roulette + A SHARP

Rep Book Roulette is one of A SHARP’s Signature Cabarets Performed Monthly at The Green Room 42 since June 2024. In this cabaret, actors take the stage, as A SHARP allows the audience to pick the song they’ll sing.

A SHARP is a NYC-based collective established in 2023, aimed at reimagining the theater-going and entertainment experience, leaving audiences with a transformative experience that won’t fall FLAT.

Position Summary

The Associate Producer will support the development, coordination, and execution of Rep Book Roulette. This role requires a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented individual who can juggle multiple production responsibilities—including email correspondence, social media presence, show planning/logistics, and on-set live-show support of running the show’s virtual polling and slideshow. The Associate Producer will work closely with the Producers and creative team to ensure each show runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Producers to manage production timelines, deliverables, and communication with all involved in production

  • Act as Director/Choreographer in Staging Monthly Group Numbers

  • Assist in email communications:

    • Coordinate pre-production logistics such as sending offer emails to Guest Stars + Actors, securing materials, sending out press releases, and preparing production documents.

  • Oversee day-of-show or on-set operations, ensuring talent, crew, and materials are prepared and that the production environment remains efficient and professional.

    • Run technical elements of polling software and slideshow during the show.

    • Act as a “stage manager” for cast on show days- Actor wrangling, working with technician, etc.

  • Contribute to social media planning, marketing assets, and post-show content as required.

  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years of experience in production, media, entertainment, or related fields (internships and student production experience welcome).

  • Strong writing, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable working with creatives (Musical Theater primarily)

  • Familiarity with production workflows, including pre-production planning, show-day support, and post-production coordination.

  • Experience with Google Workspace.

  • Creative, proactive, and collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.

  • MUST BE AVAILABLE ALL DAY FOR ALL 2026 SHOW DATES: 2/3, 3/5, 5/5, 6/2, 8/4, 9/1, 10/6, 11/3, 12/1

Preferred Skills

  • Passion for musical theater and production work.

  • Experience working in live production.

  • Knowledge of social media content strategies and promotional workflows.

  • Experience with Slack, Canva, + DirectPoll is a plus.

Compensation

  • $50 per production, paid 48 hours after each Rep Book Roulette Show.
