DESCRIPTION

American Mime Theatre is looking to hire an organized, sociable individual to work the front desk for our evening classes. This is a part-time administrative position requiring approximately 20hrs per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Buzz students into the building for evening classes
* Answer phone calls and take messages
* Maintain stock levels of office and facility supplies
* Empty garbages and handle basic housekeeping tasks
* Maintain a general knowledge of American Mime Theatre's offerings and events
* Handle rental and student payments when applicable
* Lock up the building at the end of every shift

QUALIFICATIONS

* Able to work in an organized, self-directed, and detailed manner
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
* Proficient computer and customer service skills
* Strong ability to think on your feet and manage a space independently

Applicants must be available to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from 5pm to 10pm. This is an in-person position at our Chelsea studio space, located at 137 W 25th St.
