Associate Director of Education- seeking a professional theater educator with extensive experience in educational theater and musical theater. Position will serve as the manager of our pre-professional programs: Musical Theater Conservatory and Professional Internship Program as well as supporting all of our education programs, both administratively and as an educator. Must have proven experience teaching teens and college students. Background in musical theater, with professional credits in musical theater. Candidates must have industry contacts/connections in NYC and/or Boston. An interest and awareness of youth issues and youth development is essential. A background directing youth and devising original theater is highly sought. Experience working with diverse youth populations and mentoring college students. Demonstrated administrative experience in an office. Ideal candidates will have an extensive professional resume as well as teaching experience at post-secondary level.
This position is an on-site and full-time position (inclusive of program activities) and includes benefits package including paid vacation, health, and dental. Vision, life insurance and 403b offered. Salary range of 48k-52k. Reports to: Director of Education. Send resume/CV with cover letter, 3 references and a philosophy of teaching statement.
