On February 3, Wesley Taylor and Michael Kushner held a screening for their new short film XaveMePlease at the historic LGBT Center in Manhattan. The film, written and directed by Taylor, stars Isaac Powell (Once On This Island), Alan Filderman, Jordan Puhala, and Tyler Hardwick.
The private screening came just before producers Taylor and Kushner bring the film to the festival circuit. In attendance were friends and colleagues including Krysta Rodriguez (who starred in NBC’s Smash alongside Taylor), Grace McLean (Alice By Heart, The Great Comet), and director David Moragas.
XaveMePlease features cinematography by Kushner, sound by David Morgas, and music by Rob Morrison and Marques Walls. Mikhai Lee serves as production assistant, while Alex Wyse serves as co-editor.
