Olivier winners and 2025 Tony nominees Nicole Scherzinger and Tom Francis recently headed to the NPR offices for a Tiny Desk Concert of tunes from Jamie Lloyd's revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Blvd., currently playing Broadway's St. James Theatre.
Watch above as Scherzinger belts out both of her showstoppers, "With One Look" and "As If We Never Said Goodbye," while Francis solos on the title tune, and both join forces for "The Perfect Year," also featuring Francis on guitar.
The concert also spotlights music director Alan Williams on keys, Justin Rothberg on guitar, Pete Donovan on bass, Joe Nero on drums, Annaliesa Place on violin, Philip Payton on violin, Todd Low on viola, and Sarah Hewitt-Roth on cello.

Sunset Blvd. received seven Tony nominations May 1, making it the most nominated revival of the season: Best Revival of a Musical, Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical (Scherzinger), Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical (Francis), Best Direction of a Musical (Lloyd), Best Lighting Design of a Musical (Jack Knowles), Best Sound Design of a Musical (Adam Fisher), and Best Orchestrations (Lloyd Webber and David Cullen).

Lloyd Webber said in a statement: “I am absolutely thrilled that Jamie’s wonderful Sunset Blvd. has been so recognized at this year’s Tony Awards. The musical is currently playing an extended limited engagement at the St. James through July 13.
