This year, Broadway will get into the Halloween spirit with a special candied and costumed Kids’ Night on Broadway on Sunday, October 31. Kids ages 6-18 can enjoy a show for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. A free costume party and special Times Square trick-or-treating will be part of the Halloween Kids’ Night action.
In anticipation of the event, Playbill follow Kids' Night on Broadway reporter Jessica-Hollander Sunshine on a trip to the Theatre Development Fund's Costume Collection. Stephen Cabral, director of the Collection, gave us a tour of the 80,000 costumes housed in the massive warehouse.
Along with the Halloween hoopla, this event will support the 60th Anniversary of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. To donate or for more information visit trickortreatforunicef.org.
