"A boisterous gypsy cab station offers a poetic thrill ride look into the vitality of life in Pittsburgh’s Hill District in 1977," press notes state. "A son returns home after twenty years imprisoned to face his father whose station is threatened with demolition. Battling the forces of urban redevelopment, the motley crew of drivers plan, dream and muse in this rich blooded humorous testament to August Wilson’s enduring legacy."
Jitney will have set design by Leslie M. Taylor, costume design by Reggie Ray, lighting design by Joseph Futral and sound design by Justin Ellington.
