The 18th season season of Town Hall's signature series, Broadway by the Year, will continue March 26 at 8 PM.
Created, written, and hosted by Scott Siegel, the evening will celebrate the songs that debuted on Broadway in 1947 (during the first act of the concert) and 1966 (during the second).
Interpreting these Broadway tunes will be Tony nominee Tony Yazbeck (On the Town, Prince of Broadway), Olivier winner Lesli Margherita (Matilda, Dames at Sea), Tony nominee Emily Skinner (Side Show, Prince of Broadway), Jenny Lee Stern (Rocky, Spamilton), Brian Charles Rooney (The Threepenny Opera), and Mia Gerachis (Jekyll & Hyde).
In a statement, Siegel said, "Assembling a cast of this caliber… should make this a thrilling night of musical theatre for our audience. Musical theatre fans can surely imagine Tony Yazbeck singing and dancing from Brigadoon (1947), Emily Skinner from Finian's Rainbow (1947), Lesli Margherita from Cabaret (1966) and Sweet Charity (1966). And wait [until] you see what Jenny Lee Stern, Brian Charles Rooney, and Mia Gerachis will bring to the music from 1947 and 1966 as well… as always, there will be surprises!"
Tickets are $50–$60 and are available online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 982-2787.
