Cabaret & Concert News Tony Winner Sutton Foster Sets Return to Café Carlyle

The 70th season at the intimate Manhattan venue will also feature Justin Vivian Bond, John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey, and more.

Sutton Foster, who played Marian the Librarian opposite Hugh Jackman in Broadway's hit revival of The Music Man and then joined Aaron Tveit for a limited engagement in the revival of Sweeney Todd, will return to the Café Carlyle this fall as part of the cabaret's 70th anniversary.

Foster, most recently on Broadway in the revival of Once Upon a Mattress, will play the intimate venue November 25-December 6 with evenings titled Christmas at the Carlyle.

The Broadway favorite won Tonys for her performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie and was Tony-nominated for her work in The Music Man, Violet, Shrek the Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Little Women.

The Platinum Jubilee Season at the Carlyle will also welcome Judy Collins (September 9–20); Tony Danza (September 23–27); Brian Newman (September 30); Charley Crockett (October 16-18); Richard Marx (October 21–25); Earl Rose and Friends, featuring Anthony McGill (October 26); St. Vincent (October 28–30); Justin Vivian Bond (November 4–8); Earl Rose and Friends, featuring Jason Vieaux (November 9); and John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey (November 11-22).

Located inside The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel, the famed cabaret supper club opened its doors in 1955.
