Tony nominee Liz Callaway will release a new holiday single, “There’s Still My Joy,” December 6 on all digital platforms, including iTunes, Spotify, and Apple Music. The Broadway favorite is accompanied by guitarist Peter Calo.

Written by Grammy winner (and Funny Girl national tour star) Melissa Manchester, CMA winner and Grammy nominee Beth Nielson Chapman, and Grammy winner Matthew Rollings, "There's Still My Joy" was originally considered for Callaway's pandemic holiday album, Comfort & Joy–An Acoustic Christmas, but she and Calo ran out of time to record the tune.

Callaway says in a statement, “After the events of the last few weeks, the song kept going through my mind, and I decided I needed to record it—I think it’s a perfect song for this moment, and a perfect post-script to Comfort & Joy.

Callaway received a Tony nomination for her performance in Baby, and was also seen on Broadway in Cats, Miss Saigon, The Three Musketeers, and The Look of Love. Other New York appearances include Follies in Concert at Lincoln Center, A Stephen Sondheim Evening, Encores! Fiorello, and Hair in Concert. She sang the Academy Award-nominated “Journey to the Past” in the animated feature Anastasia. Other film work includes the singing voice of Jasmine in the two Aladdin sequels; The Swan Princess; and The Rewrite with Hugh Grant.

The Working Girl Records release will also be available on LizCallaway.com.
