News Tina Fey's "Taliban Shuffle" Adaptation Will Feature Alfred Molina, Billy Bob Thornton and More Three new cast members have been cast in the Tina Fey-Margot Robbie-Martin Freeman project, Deadline.com reports.

Academy Award winner Billy Bob Thornton ("Fargo," "The Judge"), Tony nominee Alfred Molina (Red, Fiddler on the Roof) and Sheila Vand (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo) will join Christopher Abbott (The House of Blue Leaves, "Girls") , Nicholas Braun ("The Perks of Being a Wallflower," "At Middleton"), Stephen Peacocke ("Home and Away," "Hercules") and Evan Jonigkeit (High, The Snow Geese) in the untitled project, which will be directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.

Robert Carlock ("30 Rock") is penning the Paramount project, which is based on Kim Barker's autobiography, "The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan." The film follows a Lebanese reporter (Vand) working with Kim (Fey) and Tanya (Robbie) in Afghanistan.

Production has started in New Mexico.
