Thespis Festivals has announced the dates for its summer Thespis Theater Festival, set to run July 11-October 2. The festival of plays and musicals will award a top prize of $3,500 for the best play or musical.
Submissions for consideration in the festival are now open and will be accepted through June 15. Works must be between 30 and 90 minutes long.
The prize for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and Best Singer will be $500; $300 will be awarded for Best Musical Score and $200 for Best Original Play, Stage Manager and Set Designer.
